Brewing Basics

Brewing a good cup of coffee shouldn't be difficult. A focus on four main variables will generally ensure a positive result (coffee, water, ratio, time). We will discuss each of the variables and demonstrate brewing techniques for pour-over, French press, drip and Aeropress. We will sample properly brewed coffee, and we'll get a little taste of some not-so-properly brewed coffee (for perspective). Participants will leave the class with a better understanding of how to brew a great cup of coffee at home.
